The dimensions of the top plate are 6 inches by 8.5 inches with two slots that could accommodate 4.5 - 7.5 inch mounting requirements. The top plate may be a little thin for vise mounting (1/8 inch) so we would recommend bolting an adapter plate like our Vise and Grinder Bolt-on Plate to reinforce.
