We’ve provided several answers to questions related to Bead Form 3 Heavy-Duty , see some other helpful Q&A related to this product.
Question: Does this meet Milspec and SAE 5131B specs for 1-1/2 inch OD and larger?
Answer: To meet Milspec for those sizes you would need the Bead Form 2HD
Question: What pipe wall thickness can it handle?
Answer: This tool is made for up to .050" wall thickness tubing. See the Specifications tab for more info.
Question: Do you have a similar for tubes 1/4" to 1"?
Answer: You can see the full lineup here. Bead Form 1 is recommended for 5/8" through 2" OD. Smaller sizes require a smaller bead size so you may consider the Bead Form JR for 5/16 to 1/2"
Question: Will the bead former JR shaft fit a model 1HD?
Answer: Sorry but no, for best durability the shaft of a Bead Form HD1 is integrated into the machine and not replaceable like the Jr.
