Yes, depending on the width of the lower V-die, 1/4 inch mild steel requires approximately 16 tons of pressure per foot so this machine could bend just over 4 feet of .250" steel. With a wider V-die you would be able to bend the full 6 foot length but the bend radius would be slightly larger. You can reference the press brake tonnage chart on our Technical Resources page.
