The manufacturer advertises that these blades will last as long as 20 abrasive discs. We have found through our own use that a blade is good for several hundred cuts in mild steel but there are a few factors that can affect blade life.
1. Material type - thin wall tubing is hardest on blades vs solid material or thicker materials.
2. It is important to make sure your material is clamped securely and in the right orientation.
3. Take caution to enter the cut slowly then pull down with steady pressure through the material.
