The main advantage is the durability and smooth operation, even in very rugged environments. The 1" bar that these drawers hinge on gives the 4" drawers a 450 lb weight capacity and they won't get sticky and bind over time like roller slides. Each drawer has its own grease fitting to maintain the extremely smooth pivot action for the long haul.
