How do these curve templates attach at the ends; would the black strip be magnetic to allow a hold down by magnets?
107 inch Curve Template
I just want to know how you're holding these in place, especially in the pictures. In my application, it would be roof panel repairs and while I would use the tool to make the panel... I would also like to use it to properly set the height of a full roof job.
Did you just screw these down for the images?

The tool is not attached in any of our photos. The locking knobs hold the tool into the exact shape of the panel and it just rests there, no problem. The black band is made of spring steel and one could probably use magnets to hold down to steel panels if you wish.
