The Siegmund Oil Stone is designed to take off weld spatter and high spots from damage. The two sides have different abrasives depending how aggressive you need to be. We would not recommend using the Oil Stone on good nitride finishes but this is a good alternative to repair and maintain the flatness of the table vs sanding or grinding.
