Sorry, this is not an option for this attachment as it would change the belt size as well. You could however change out the front arm with one from an MT482 and still use the 2 x 48" belt.
Can the 8" contact wheel be interchanged with the smaller contact wheel for the MT482? Multitool 8CW, 2 x 48 inch Belt Grinder Attachment, 8 inch Contact Wheel
Other more expensive grinders have different contact wheel attachments and because there is a smaller cousin, I was wondering if the contact wheels are interchangeable. That would greatly increase the versatility of this attachment and increase its appeal for the budget knifemaker.
