The two main differences between the HB1 Hand bender and this one would be sizes and radius of dies available and flexibility. The Mittler 950 bender has a range of 3/8" up to 1" and can do round and square tubing. The HB1 goes from 3/16" up to 5/8" and focuses more on the small sizes common to brake and fuel lines. The HB1 dies are reversible so you get two different radius options with each die set. Additional radii are also available to purchase separately. Both machines are manual and rely on the operator for consistency but the 950 bender does come with a degree wheel for easy tracking of bend angle.
