The difference is hard to see but the aluminum jaws have almost twice as many serrations on the gripping surface for less marking of the material.
What is actual difference between the jaws for aluminum vs. ones for steel ? JS Shrinker Jaws for Aluminum
I have the ones for steel and am interested in the ones for aluminum , but they look virtually identical in your pictures.
