How is anti-spiraling maintained? I need a large radius bend to lie flat vs sitting up (if there’s spiraling).

There is no good way of doing that on a simple machine like this. You will have varying results depending on the material being bent and how many times you have to roll it back and forth to achieve your radius. More industrial machines have lateral guides to correct this and can often be bent in one pass.
