what's the biggest degree of angle it will go to?

There is not really a limitation to angle with this machine. The cross-slide vise can be positioned at nearly any angle. The cutting surface of the end mill is 4" and depending on the OD of the tube, this can limit how sharp of an angle you can achieve.
