You bring up a good point. This particular stand is made by and for the Multitool Grinder product line. The tilting part of the stand is only useful with a workrest which fits the Multitool specifically. Although it is not tilting, you can see our larger grinder pedestal here. The other option would be to build an adapter plate which would fit on top of this pedestal.
