The standard 3D and 5D dies are designed to work with most brake line and fuel line but it has a lot to do with the tubing being used. Thicker wall tubing can be bent on a tighter radius than thinner wall. Copper, aluminum, and steel all have different thresholds for when kinking will occur. Typically if you are having kinking issues, stepping up one radius will solve the problem.
