There are two theories with English wheel anvils, True Radius anvils which have no flat spots, and anvil wheels that have a flat spot in the profile. Our 2" wide anvils do not have flat spots and our 3" wide anvils do. This is a widely debated topic and much is up to personal preference on how they work.
