What's the best way to get a precise bend?

Trying to make a square frame with 1/4" rod. Getting the bend in a precise location is hard because the rod slips while the bend is being made. What's the best way to prevent this?

The part will need to slip with one of the pins, the trick is to get it to slip consistently in the same spot. You can try lubricating the rotating pin or the outside of the bent part while keeping inside pin dry. Another option would be to use a vise-grip or other clamp to hold the material to the center pin.
