If you refer to our Punching Chart under the Technical Resources section, you can see that it requires 9.8 tons of power to punch a 1/2" hole through 1/4" steel. The No 8 Roper Whitney Punch that this fits into only has 5 tons of power. Feel free to give us a call at 641-628-3860 to discuss your needs in more depth.
