The front and side clearance is about the same, approximately 1-5/8" to the center of the cutter.
Can you advise how close you can get the center of the cutter to a vertical surface? to the side and the front? Fein Slugger JMC Magforce 90 Compact Magnetic Drill
I am looking for a specific application to see if the drill and get close enough to the web of and ibeam and also possibly to drill through base plates that already have a vertical pipe column welded to them.
