This cutter is designed to work in the Mittler Bros Tube Notcher and will work on stainless steel with .065 wall thickness or less. Ideally for stainless you would have the Variable Speed Ultimate Tubing Notcher. As with any cutting operation, stainless will reduce the life of your cutter.
