my saw is not making accurate downward cuts, there is blade drift. Can the blade be adjusted?

Yes, there are a few things to consider if your saw is not making straight cuts. First, check that you are using the proper blade, it is in good condition, and the tension is tight enough. A slightly loose blade will wander. Next, check the outer blade guide bearings. They are on an eccentric bolt and can be adjusted to eliminate any gap that could allow twist.
