With press brakes, the tonnage required varies depending on the width of the lower v-die. With this Betenbender 4-foot, 70 ton press brake you have 17.5 tons per foot to work with max. If you reference our Press Brake Tonnage Chart found under the Technical Resources tab, you can see that with a 2" v-die you could bend 1/4" mild steel material safely.
