It would be close but I believe that 12" x 2" standing up may be too large for this saw. I would recommend calling in to speak with one of our sales representatives and they would be able to give you a firm answer after getting a little more information. You might consider either the Ellis 3000 or 4000 saws, they would have a larger capacity.
