Can this be paired with the Dust Shroud for JET 10 and 12 inch Buffers?

It appears that the mounting holes for JET 10 and 12-inch industrial buffers are 8-3/4 inches on center. The overall slot width on this pedestal is 9 inches so either slightly smaller mounting bolts would need to be used or a little bit of grinding could make it work.
